OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2010. About 18,6 billion kWh electric power was produced in the state power system, during 12 months of last year.
The information about it was informed by the Central Dispatch Office of the Press-release to   “Azerenergy” JSC. 

From this capacity, about 16,3 billion electric power was produced by the Thermal Power Plant (TPP)  and about 2,3 billion kWh electric power was generated by Hydro Power Plant (HPP).

According to the information given by the source, more than 1,8 billion kWh electric power was produced in December of 2009 and from this capacity, about 1,6 milliard kWh was generated by TPP, more than 0,2 billion kWh was produced by HPP. Beside it, electric power exchange is continued with the neighboring countries – Russian  Federation, Iran Islamic Republic and Georgia Republic.

By the way, lets` note that, about 57 million kWh electric power was produced on Azerbaijani’s Solidarity day and on New Year, (31 December of 2009).
