OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2010. Margrethe Melbye Gronn (born 1962) has been appointed COO of DnB NORD Group. She joins the bank from a position in DnB NORD as Executive Vice President for Operations, Payment Services, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD.

She has since 2001 worked in various management positions within DnB NOR IT and Operations. In addition, she has worked as a Senior Project Manager in Hewlett Packard, and as a Technical Advisor for EDIFACT development in Brussels. Furthermore, she has over seven years work experience from the Norwegian Customs and the Norwegian Directorate of Customs and Excise.

Margrethe Melbye Gronn holds a Master of Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Management and Ecole Superior Commerce Paris (ESCP-EAP).
