OREANDA-NEWS. January 06, 2010. the transshipment terminal for grains and oilseeds in Mykolayiv was visited by guests from Japan. The purpose of their visit was the desire to see the situation in the agro industrial complex of Ukraine, to determine the prospects of economic relations between Japan and Ukraine. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.

Guests visited the transshipment terminal with great interest, and previously they attended the branch “Vitove” in Cherkasy region with the same visit to be acquainted with the investment projects - the revival of the Dnipro River as the main water way of Ukraine.

The members of the delegation paid particular attention to agricultural policy, distribution markets for agricultural products, export crops, investment in agriculture of Ukraine, the regulation of land issues.

The Japanese guests expressed their sincere respect for the national investor and grain trader “NIBULON” and indicated their interest in the possibility of future cooperation.
