OREANDA-NEWS. January 05, 2010. The Tariff (Price) Council of Azerbaijan has established a new internal price for oil in the country.

The Council’s Secretariat informs that earlier tariff value of oil also included tariff for its transportation, but by Tariff Council’s decision these tariffs were divided.

“Since 1 January 2010 wholesale price of a ton of crude oil was fixed at the level of 53.6 manats (without VAT, and tariff for its transportation 2.6 manats (without VAT), the Secretariat reported.

The Tariff Council has also changed names of tree oil products from oil coke, and withdrawn one product from their list.

In accord with exchange rate tariff for oil transportation is USD 3.24 per ton.
