OREANDA-NEWS. January 04, 2010. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which has been single gas operator of Azerbaijan since summer, assumed measures in connection with celebration of Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the world and New Year.

SOCAR informed that from 28th December, industrial association Azeriqaz has started strengthened operating mode in order to provide continuity and high level of gas supply to consumers. Twenty-four-hour watching is organized in Azeriqaz.

At the same time, from 5th January, after holidays, gas supply will be stopped to subscribers, who have overdue debts.
