OREANDA-NEWS. January 04, 2010. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) finished the first stage of the organization of cooperation of  national holding company Uzbekneftegaz concerning environment protection issues.

Ecol Engineering CJSC informed that a joint working group was created to clear oil-contaminated land, waste water and utilization of oil. In December, the group’s members carried out monitoring of oil-and-gas production department "Mubarekneftegaz" in Uzbekistan.

"Uzitineftgaz" institute will prepare design and estimate documentation and will submit for consideration of working group.

Earlier, delegation of SOCAR offered "Uzbekneftegaz" to use services of the Ecol Engineering in the sphere of purification of territory, cooperation in joint projects and development of nanotechnologies.
