OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2009. According to the eleven months of 2009 results passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 6 240 834 people, which is 6,1% less than the activities of the eleven months of 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries for the eleven months in 2009 had a total enrolment of 2 753 488 people, which is 10,3% less than the number of passengers, carried during the eleven months in 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 2 978 532 people, which is 2,4% less than during the eleven months in 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 3,3% and had a total enrolment of 508 814 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations decreased by 8,1% during the eleven months in 2009 and had a total enrolment of 80 611 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 2 830 000 tons, the decrease is 9,8% as compared with the same period in 2008.

Results of November 2009

According to October results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 510 322 people, which is 14,2% more than it was in November 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries in November 2009 had a total enrolment of 186 228 people, which is 1,1% less than the number of passengers carried in November 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 280 262 people, which is 30,6% more than in November 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 0,8% and had a total enrolment of 43 832 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 5,8% in November 2009 and had a total enrolment of 6 939 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 240 389 tons, the increase is 6,4% as compared with the same period in 2008.
