"In May we presented our company’s new philosophy to get closer to clients and be very easy in use. Therefore it is important for us to be simple and understandable when it comes to our customers. For that we introduced in December the single-entry Call Center number for all tariffs. That is 555. Yet, we haven’t forgotten about our potential customers, who may either use services of other operators or currently have no mobile phones at all. In order to make it easier for them to find out about Bakcell and its campaigns, we have introduced the single Call Center number for calls from landline and other operators’ numbers - 055 0000555” - said Ineke Botter, Bakcell’s Chief Executive Officer.

"By the end of this year we are planning to increase by over a third the number of licenses. New licenses will be used for serving VIP customer calls and rendering them with even higher quality services", - added Ms. Ineke Botter.

"Introducing new services we also reduce workload of the Call Center. For instance, starting from September Klass and Gold customers have an opportunity to top up their balance with payment cards by simply dialing *101# , then payment-card code and #YES . Thus, we have substantially decreased the number of calls that otherwise would have been made for topping up balance inquiries" - emphasized the CEO.

Given that over the last 15 years Bakcell customers got used to existing landline 012 498 8989, this number will remain active for the time being, along with the newly introduced 055 000055.

All Bakcell subscribers can now call 555 to speak to a Call-Centre agent to receive the required information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

Bakcell has recently optimized its Call-Centre and reached worldwide standards in providing services to calling customers. 95% of all answered calls are dealt with in less than 10 seconds and on average your question will be answered in about 1 min.
