OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2009. On 29 December, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko imposed a veto on the Law extending the sale of land till 1 January 2012. Please note that the above Law was passed by the Verkhovna Rada on 22 December 2009.

Millennium Capital sees the news to be neutral, since the land sale will be technically impossible during the New Year holidays, while the final decision on the given question will be made after the Verkhovna Rada reconvenes and starts work after the festive season.
