OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2009. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has made a statement on basic directions of its monetary policy for 2010.

The statement says that next year the CBA is to set up a centre for surveys & development to support scientific research, modern education and creation of development resources.

“The CBA is to pass new standards of risk management in 2010 and introduce new electronic system of statistics and reporting, and a new information system of banking supervision,” the statement says.

The CBA will also foster public communications system and realize several social projects.
