OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2009. BSGV supports “Silver Camera” photo competition as general partner. The best photo reportages on Moscow will be estimated in the framework of the contest.

The competition was established by Moscow Government in 2000 with the aim to fix the contemporary history, promote and develop Russian photo art and to support young photographers. The contest is carried out by Moscow House of Photography, with which BSGV has been cooperating for 2 years.

The exposition of the nominee works is held from December 22, 2009 to January 22, 2010 in Manezh exhibition centre (1, Manezhnaya sq.). The works represent 3 topics: “Architecture”, “Events and Daily Life”, “Faces”. The peculiarity of the competition is that professionals and amateurs are present among authors (and within jury either) equally. Every visitor of the exhibition can participate in voting for the viewers’ award.
