OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2009. Following publication by some print and online media of misleading information concerning SCM's shareholding in Oblast Pharmacy Management Company, SCM regards as necessary to declare the following:

At the moment SCM does not hold a share in or own companies operating in the pharmacy market.

On 20 March 2009, SCM withdrew from Oblast Pharmacy Management Company and sold its share to other market players. Nor do we own any share in authorized capitals of other "pharmaceutical" businesses. Therefore, now SCM's portfolio contains no companies active in the pharmacy market.

System Capital Management, the biggest managing company of Ukraine 100% of which belongs to Rinat Akhmetov, considers as necessary to state that unreliable information of this kind badly damages business reputation of the Company and its Shareholder.
