OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2009. Kernel increased the daily capacity of Poltava Crushing Plant by 73% to 1.3kt. This resulted from the completeness of the plant modernization, which took USD 25mn of the Company investments.

Millennium Capital considers the news to be positive for the Company, since Poltava Crushing Plant is the largest sunflower seed manufacturer of Kernel and the increase of its capacity may raise total Company capacity by around 17%, y/y in 2009/10 financial year. Considering the expected growth of world sunflower oil price Millennium Capital expects that Kernel will confidently reach the planned sales amount of USD 1,050mn in 2009/10 financial year.
