OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2009. The government of Kirov region granted state guarantee to Novovyatskiy Ski Mill OJSC for obtaining 145 million roubles of banking credits, which will allow implementing reconstruction and modernization business plan, namely reconstruction of wood particleboard facility with boosting its annual capacity up to 130,000 cubic meters of furniture board (including laminated products), as informed by the regional administration.

Reconstruction will enable to process low-grade wood as well as provide furniture industry of the region with locally-made wood particleboard. In the framework of the modernization project a new production line is installed at the parquet flooring facility. It is planned to rebuild and modernize production at the sawmilling facility, LVL facility, office furniture parts facility as well as modernize ski manufacturing line and establish own harvesting.

This investment project at the Novovyatskiy ski mill pretends to be included into the top priority investment projects list of the Trade Ministry. Presently an application for the project implementation is approved by the regional authorities and sent to the Ministry for Industry and Trade for appraisal. Apart from that, the company has prepared documentation for support of the wood particleboard facility reconstruction project by the Patronage certificate of the region’s governor.
