OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Audit of Operational Safety contemplates examination of the whole complex of an airline company. Standards are subdivided into eight directions, covering all industrial activity of an airline company and professional training of the certificated personnel, reported the press-centre of Armavia.

The measures of management and personnel activity estimation of an airline company are being conducted. The IOSA audit procedure is considered to be quite difficult and rigid. The documentary confirmation of more than 950 IATA standards usage is essential. Audit process is conducted by corresponding audit organizations, accredited by IATA.

There are eight international audit organizations worldwide in total. After conducting the audit in the framework of an airline company, acknowledgement of the given audit data by the monitoring system of Quality of the audit organization is held, and verification materials are being transferred to IATA for acknowledgement of conformity to standards.

Based on the results of acknowledgement of conformity of an airline company to the abovementioned standards, the IOSA Certificate of conformity to standards is given out (prolonged).LLC Armavia Aviacompany had passed the IOSA Audit of Operational Safety (IATA Operational Safety Audit) in October, 2007 for the first time, conducted by "SH&E", international American audit organization, obtaining the Certificate of compliance to IOSA standards in consequence of it.

Regular audit of Operational Safety IOSA at LLC Armavia Aviacompany was conducted by German audit organization Aviation Quality Services from May 18th till May 22nd, 2009 and on September 9, 2009 the confirmation of conformity to the international standards has been obtained.
