OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Air Astana has proudly won the award “The Best Corporate Website of the Year” at the annual AWARD.kz 2009 event, which was held in Almaty, reported the press-centre of Air Astana.

Air Astana has an excellent track record in winning awards at this grand event in the field of Information Technology. Last year, Air Astana was awarded as the Best e-Commerce website. In 2007 Air Astana won awards for Best Corporate Website, Discovery of the Year and 3rd place for the Kazakh language website.

Air Astana considers winning this award as a recognition of the hard work that it has been doing to promote eCommerce in the recent years. The Corporate Websites category of the event is recognized as the most prestigious one in the field of Internet technologies in Kazakhstan.

AWARD.kz is held annually to identify the outstanding sources of Kazakh Internet (Kaznet) based on best design, best technology and the socio-cultural aspect. The main goal of the contest is to promote the development of Internet in Kazakhstan as a new field for creative work, vacation and professional activity.
