OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. OJSC IC ROSNO has concluded two large apartment insurance contracts in Moscow. The comprehensive program Megapolis protecting the said apartments, contemplates insurance coverage of movable and immovable property; civil liability; pets (including veterinary treatment); costs of hiring temporary residence in case of an insured accident, early return in case of absence in the city at the moment of the insured accident, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

ROSNO has provided insurance coverage for the apartment located at Butikovsky Lane in Moscow for the insurance amount exceeding 2.6 mln US dollars. The concluded contract covers the apartment’s structural elements.

The apartment located at Frunzenskaya Street has been insured by ROSNO for 2.75 mln US dollars. The contract insures structural elements and furnishings, as well as the insurant’s movable property and civil liability.

The insurance coverage of both apartments’ structural elements contemplates protection against the following risks: fire, explosion, lightning stroke, aircraft impact, falling trees and poles, collision with transport vehicles, burglary, robbery, brigandage; unlawful third-party actions, flood, natural disasters, rescue-related expenses, and cleaning-up expenses.

Along with the structural elements and furnishings, the movable property kept in the apartment located at Frunzenskaya Street has been protected against the following risks: burglary, robbery, brigandage; unlawful third-party actions, falling trees and poles, collision with transport vehicles, flood, fire, explosion, lightning stroke, and natural disasters. In addition, rescue-related expenses have been covered. Moreover, ROSNO has insured the apartment’s property and furnishing against careless third-party actions in course of performing the construction or repair works and covered civil liability for any harm inflicted to third parties in course of using the residential premise.
