UNIStream Launches Russian First Mega-Network
OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. The international money transfer system UNIStream jointly with the 1st Processing Bank and United System of Instant Payments (USIP) has launched the national first mega-network based on the operational outlets of UNIStream and the QIWI terminals of USIP, reported the press-centre of UNIStream.
The unprecedented project has combined the advantages of both operational outlets of UNIStream and the USIP’s terminals.
The newly appeared Russia’s largest network is planned to consist of over 190,000 service points internationally, integrating technical and infrastructure capacities of two leading players coming from different market segments.
In Russia alone, the network created will be based on over 92,000 service points.
The project is yet another milestone to the domestic and CIS money transfer market’s history, opening the terminal-operational outlet network era.
