OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Open Joint Stock Company “Russian Bank for Development” and the State Corporation “Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies” have signed an agreement on exchange of information as part of cooperation in SME lending support, reported the press-centre of CBM.

The signed agreement provides for interaction of the parties relating to support to small and medium-sized enterprises involved in innovative sectors of the economy. Pursuant to the document RBD will finance projects, in particular, in the area of nanotechnologies developed by SMEs and approved by SC Rusnanotech.

According to Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD, “this agreement is targeted at fostering research work of small enterprises in the science-intensive industries”. “RBD has always perceived support to innovative SMEs as a high  priority, therefore cooperation with Rusnanotech meets the Bank’s objectives and enables to raise the level of coordination between the institutions for development in key directions of the government economic policy”, Sergey Krjukov reckons.
