OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. In order to comply with EU-ETS (European Emissions Trading Scheme) Air Moldova has submitted to EU authorities the plan for monitoring emissions of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The European Union agreed to include aviation in the European Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) in February 2009. According ETS, every aircraft operator flying into, out of, or within the EU will be required to get allowances for its CO2 emissions starting from 2012.
