Kazakhtelecom (Astana), securities of which are present in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) official list, informed KASE that in pursuance of order of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Informatization and Telecommunications of November 13, 2009 # 463 Kazakhtelecom from January 1, 2010 introduces new tariffs for telecommunications services, reported the press-centre of KASE.

According to this order for Kazakhtelecom as the universal servicing operator will be decreased tariffs for trunk connections for individuals: by 5% on the fourth tariff zone (from 601 to 1000 km) and 7% on the fifth tariff zone (over 1001 km), thus the payment for incomplete 10 seconds of connection will make up KZT1.316 and KZT1.397 VAT excluded accordingly on the fourth and fifth zones.

Tariffs for trunk connections for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities remain at the existing level.

From January 1, 2010 tariffs for individuals will be increased: city - 18%, village - 30% . Thus, monthly payment for the telephone not transferred to time rate payment for individuals: city - KZT520 without VAT for the separate line and KZT407.10 without VAT for shared line, village - KZT345.25 without VAT for the main line and KZT289.42 without VAT for shared line.

Size of time rate for individuals in the urban area - KZT257.83 without VAT for the main line and KZT181.84 without VAT for the shared line and local connections at time rate payment KZT0.094 without VAT for each complete and incomplete 10 seconds of conversation.

Also the monthly payment for individual entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas will be increased by 10%. Thus, monthly payment for the telephone not transferred to time rate payment for this category individuals KZT644.70 without VAT for the separate line and KZT509.31 without VAT for shared line. Size of time rate for individuals in the urban area - KZT515.76 without VAT for the main line and KZT407.45 without VAT for the shared line and local connections at time rate payment.
