OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2009. Under the 2010-budget approved Tuesday but the Municipal Council, revenues of the Chisinau municipality will total 1 billion 695 million 756 thousand leis, up 37 million leis than this year.

Expenditure will total 1 billion 747 million 756 thousand leis. The 52 million leis deficit is to be covered by funds earned from sale or privatization of the public property. According to the capital’s mayor, this budget is more than acceptable for the crisis period.

The capital investment program and the capital repair works program for the year of 2010 will be approved afterwards. The chief department of housing and communal economy will submit suggestions concerning the development and reorganization of the municipal housing fund administration system.
