OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2009. The Kaliningrad branch of ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded an insurance contract covering crops of KFH Von Der Dekken V.S. for 21,522,344 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance protection has been provided for winter barley crops (area of 80 ha) and winter rape crops (area of 550 ha).

The concluded contracts contemplate payment of insurance compensation for the damage inflicted to crops by the following natural phenomena hazardous for agricultural production: drought (atmospheric and soil ones), frost, winterkill and rotting, hail hit (in case of big-size hail), dust and sand storms, earthquakes, avalanches, mudflow, spring tide, and soil overmoistening.
