OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2009. On December 19, 2009 by 07:00 in the morning (local time) the specialists of JSC Irkutskenergo completely removed the cause of accident took place on December 18, 2009 in 4:30 (local time) at the main of the heating grids in Novo-Lenino micro district of the city of Irkutsk (place of the heating system damage was detected by 20:00 in the evening on December 18, 2009). The heat supply of the residential and social objects of the district was repaired in the normal mode. The cause of the accident was the wear of the city grids transited by JSC Irkutskenergo to the concession in 2007.

Sergey Edmin, General Director of JSC Irkutskenergo comments on the accident, “We are very thankful to the regional authorities, Chief Administration of Emercom of Russia in the Irkutsk region, operative and communal services of the city for the well organized and coordinated mutual work, we express our gratitude to the power engineers of the Company for the professionalism – they managed to liquidate the consequences of the accident and prevented the defrost of the heat supply system as soon as possible”.
