FAS Initiated Proceedings against State Traffic Control Inspectorate
OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2009. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated proceedings against the State Traffic Control Inspectorate, of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, for the elements of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (prohibiting competition-restricting acts and actions of the authorities), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
FAS Russia suspects antimonopoly violations in an unreasonable refusal of the State Traffic Control Inspectorate, of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, to place individually designed signs giving directions and other information with advertising elements.
The case was initiated upon a complaint of "Dorinvestproekt" Ltd., forwarded to FAS Russia from the Department of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Citizens' Complaints and Appeals Handling.
