OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2009. More than 600 individuals approached the FAS Russia's Community Liaison Office in November 2009, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

To improve the quality of work with petitioners, the FAS Russia's Community Liaison Office organizes personal reception of citizens by officers of various departments of the antimonopoly authority.

In November 2009 consultations of specialists from the following FAS Russia's Departments were the most sought-after:

- Housing & Utilities, Construction and Natural Resources;

- Control over State Procurement;

- Control over Chemical Industry and the Agro-Industrial Complex;

- Control over Social Sphere and Commerce.

As pointed out by Stats-Secretary Andrey Tsarikovsky, Deputy Head of FAS Russia, professional solutions to the emerging problems, results-oriented consideration of the issues raised by citizens and targeted assistance to anybody who applied with requests - are the basic, primary goals of the FAS Russia's Community Liaison Office. Already the first month of its work proved that opening the Liaison Office was important and necessary for the population.

The most topical issues related to state procurement, housing and utilities & municipal-building maintenance services, as well as t questions about application of the Rules of technological connections of electric power receivers in possession of consumers of electric power.
