OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2009. At extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of MEGABANK, PJSC the shareholders have make amendments to the membership of the Supervisory Board, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

As a result Alexander Saveliev from EBRD and Lars Oermann from KfW Entwicklungsbank have become new members of the Supervisory Board.

Opinion of Astrum: In November 2009 EBRD and KfW have acquired by 15% of MEGABANK shares each. We believe that their participation in the Supervisory Board of MEGABANK,PJSC will improve its operation efficiency and increase net profit for 2010. This event will guarantee access to foreign borrowing, resulting in resumption of lending to small and medium businesses beginning from 2010.
