Petersburg Oil Terminal Expected Throughput at 12 mln Tons
OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2009. The volume of export oil transshipment through Petersburg Oil Terminal Ltd. (POT) (St. Petersburg) in 2009, is expected to be over 12 million tones, Igor Teleshev, CEO of POT told in an interview with journalists. This figure, he said, corresponds to the same period last year. "In 2010, with very good circumstances, we will be able to beat another record," Mr. Teleshev said.
Currently, all major suppliers of oil products confirmed shipping at POT for 2010, "The nuances are quite possible, but so far no one has talked about possible cuts in supply", said Mr. Teleshev.
JSC "Petersburg Oil Terminal" provides services for handling and storage of light and crude oil products intended for export and bunkering vessels. The company produces high-quality analysis of oil products, accepts and processes oily water from ships calling into the port.
