OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. The International Road Transport has started its work at the Exhibition Centre today. Our country hosts the forum of this kind for the first time. It is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Turkish exhibition company Meridyen Uluslararasi Fuarcilik San. Ve Tic.Ltd.Sti.

The major automobile giants from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Turkey, Korea, Sweden, Uzbekistan and other countries participate in the exhibition. Their large-scale expositions vividly evidence the paramount importance attached by foreign business circles to further development of effective and fruitful cooperation with our country.

It is known that Turkmenistan has earned a reputation of a dependable and promising partner in the international community. The Turkmen market is especially attractive for manufacturers of specialized automotive equipment. The framework of the international auto show is a splendid opportunity for foreign firms and companies to establish a direct dialogue with potential Turkmen partners.

Aiming to modernize dynamically and diversify the economy, Turkmenistan is interested in high-quality products that meet international standards. Hundreds of state-of-the-art machines are engaged in implementing the large-scale projects under the National Programme on the improvement of the social and living conditions in villages, towns, cities and district centers etraps for the period of till 2020, in the fuel and energy, construction, road transport and railway transport sectors, agriculture and water industry. The fleet of the sectoral ministries and departments, health care establishments and passenger transport is replenished on a regular basis.

According to the organizers, the Exhibition is an international auto show that presents vehicles of different types – from passenger cars and vans to cranes and haulers. Heavy automotive and agricultural equipment and machines are showcased in the open-air exhibition areas. In addition, the Exhibition displays service and garage equipment, engineering supervision and testing devices, spare parts and various accessories for automobiles. The participants represent the manufacturers of automobile oils and various types of transportation fuels.
