OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. Interpipe’s NTRP mill, which produces railway wheels under the KLW brand, has successfully passed the complex preliminary audit of Belgium’s national railway operator SNCB (Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Belges). The group of auditors consisted of SNCB and representatives from the Bombardier Transportation companies.

The main aim of the audit was to establish the chain of production process and wheel products to international demands and standards. The audit also evaluated the readiness of the Company to supply Belgian railways with solid-rolled wheels of the right quality.

As a result of the visit, auditors positively evaluated the Quality Management System functioning at Interpipe’s NTRP mill, noted the sound organization of business processes, the highly-motivated personnel and customer-oriented nature of the business.
