OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. As part of an aeromedical transportation mission Moscow Airport Domodedovo accepted 7 flights of Russian Emergency Control Ministry (EMERCOM) from 5th till 7th of December.

The aircraft transported to Moscow 65 injured in fire occurred on the night of December 5th in the Khromaya Loshad (Lame Horse) night club located in Perm in the North of Russia.

Normal mode of the airport operations was ensured for these days.

Domodedovo is the largest airport of Russia and the Eastern Europe, the number-one Russian airport in terms of passenger traffic. Its share in general volume of passenger traffic in Moscow Traffic Control Area (TMA) makes 45,3 % (calculated for 9 months of this year). In 2008 Domodedovo airport provided services for 20,4 mln. passengers.
