OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. This is provided by the agreement on economic-technical cooperation, signed by the Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat and the Chinese Ambassador in Moldova Shi Lonchzhuan.

As the Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat said after the ceremony, the areas to be funded by the Chinese grant will be determined later and the separate agreement will be signed. It is planned that the Chinese grant will be used to cover the costs of participation of Moldovan delegation at the World Exposition in Shanghai in 2010 and for promotion of Moldovan wines at the Chinese market.

Vladimir Filat thanked the authorities of China for the continued support to Moldova, noting, in particular, the negotiations on granting the loan of US1 billion for implementing the infrastructure development projects. So far, the grant assistance provided by China to Moldova amounted to US 12 million.
