Estonian Greiner Packaging Extends Production
OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. AS Greiner Packaging, a company making packaging for the food industry, has expanded and modernized its production unit in Estonia's Tabasalu.
Managing director of the company Harri Kundla told BNS that the recently opened extension of the production hall widened the production premises of the company by nearly 30 percent to 3,700 square meters.
"In the framework of the expansion we also modernized the existing production premises, modernized prodcution conditions and improved conditions of hygiene," he said.
Among other things Greiner produces 4.4 liter mustard packages for Norway's Orkla.
According to the report for the financial year the sales revenue of Greiner Packaging was 189.9 million kroons, of which the company earned 37 percent in Estonia.
The company earned a profit of 9.8 million kroons last year, while the year before the profit of the company was 5.6 million kroons.
Last year the company invested 23 million kroons into fixed assets.
The average number of employees in the accountancy period was 100.
