OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by the Far Eastern Electrical Communications Company, OJSC, to pay interest on the seventh coupon and redeem 15% of the par value of the company’s Series 02 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The holders of Series 02 bonds were paid coupon interest at a rate of 8.85% per annum, or 44 rubles 13 kopecks per bond, and also 15% of par value, or 150 rubles, per security in accordance with the issue redemption schedule. The Bank paid 388,260,000 rubles in all.

The Far Eastern Electrical Communications Company, OJSC, floated its six-year Series 02 bond issue on June 7, 2006, to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as the managing underwriter of the issue.
