OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. ROSNO’s Ural directorate has paid a private client a contractual MOD insurance compensation in the amount of 2,774,936 roubles for the constructive loss of the client’s vehicle, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The vehicle Lexus LX 570, manufactured in 2008, had been insured with ROSNO under a MOD insurance contract in July 2009. In October, the insured vehicle got involved in an accident on the 95th km of the Tambov-Penza highway. During the investigation of this traffic accident, the road police established that the accident had occurred by fault of the two traffic participants: the driver of the Lexus LX 570 insured with ROSNO and the driver of VAZ 2106. As a result of an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver performed by the VAZ 2106, the Lexus skidded to a roadside ditch.

As determined by the road police inspector, the driver of the Lexus was also guilty in the accident, since he had been driving the vehicle at the speed exceeding the established speed limit. As a result of this traffic accident, both vehicles sustained significant mechanical damage. Fortunately, the drivers were not hurt. The Lexus LX 570 has been classified as damaged beyond repair.

The Ural Directorate paid its owner 2,774,936 roubles for the risk "Damage".
