OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. Belarus’ imports of soft drinks and mineral water decreased year-on-year in January-October 2009, according to the State Customs Committee.

Imports of soft drinks, including mineral water, still or aerated, with sugar or sweeteners were at 4.96 million decaliters in the period, down 45.3% on the year, worth USD 34.447 million, down 36%.

Belarus imported 3.81 million decaliters of drinks of this type from Russia, down 33.6%, worth USD 26.542 million, a decrease of 21.8%.

Imports from Ukraine were at 1.089 million decaliters, down 2.9 times, worth USD 6.662 million, down 2.7 times.

Imports of water, including natural or artificial mineral water, still or aerated, without sugar or sweeteners were at 585,026 decaliters, down 13.2% on the year in January-October 2009, worth USD 2.692 million, down 0.2% year-on-year.
