OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2009. This was discussed during the meeting of the Prime Minister with representatives of the oil companies operating at the Moldovan market.

As the press service of the government has informed, the parties have discussed issues related to the import and sale of mineral oil products at the domestic market, necessity to amend the existing regulations regulating the mineral oil market as well as other problems. The participants also discussed the procedure of establishing prices for mineral oil products.

The Prime Minister called for economic agents to avoid unjustified price increase. Vladimir Filat noted the Government's commitment to an open and effective dialogue with the business environment. In their turn, the representatives of the oil companies assured the prime minister that they will not allow price increase.

At the same time, they asked the government’s support in improving the regulatory framework regulating mineral oil market. During the meeting it was agreed that in the nearest future the operators of the market will present relevant proposals.
