Tatneft Constructed Trunk Oil Pipeline to TANEKO
OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2009. OAO TATNEFT has completed construction and hydraulic testing of the trunk oil pipeline 118 km long. This pipeline connected the oil pumping station Kaleykino (Almetyevsky region of Tatarstan), which is a part of the Transneft system, with the TANEKO complex of refineries and petrochemical plants being under construction in Nizhnekamsk, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.
The route of the pipeline has passed through the territory of Almetyevsky, Sarmanovsky, Zainsky, Tukaevsky and Nizhnekamsky regions of Tatarstan. The underwater crossing of the river Stepnoy Zai has been carried out. The pipe diameter is 720 millimeters. It is sufficient for subsequent increase of the pumping volume from 7 to 14 million tons of crude oil annually.
Construction of the surface facilities at the end points of the new pipeline continues at present. It refers to expanding the Kaleykino pumping station with erection of a new tank of 50 thousand cubic meters capacity for receiving crude oil from OAO TATNEFT and construction of two oil pumping stations: main and booster ones, as well as building a custody transfer point in Nizhnekamsk.
Construction Manager of the pipeline is OAO AK Transneft, which has designated Tatneft Company to be an Executor. Glavneftegazstroyservis Management Company has been appointed as a General Contractor for the Construction project.
Implementation of the contract, concluded in May of this year, has been carried out in accordance with the approved construction schedule. A lot of labor force and means have been mobilized as well as the latest up-to-date technologies and advanced erection techniques have been applied for the purpose of accomplishing the task.
