OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. According to the preliminary information, over 9 months of 2009, total premium collected by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Southern Federal District of Russia amounted to RUB 1 145 mln., which is 5,3% more than in 2008.

Total insurance premium for voluntary insurance other than life was RUB 873 mln. (an increase of 1,5%) , including for property insurance – RUB 764 mln. (an increase of 4,6%), for liability insurance– RUB 46 mln., for personal insurance – RUB 63 mln. The insurance premium collected for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 272 mln. (an increase of 21,0%).Payments made by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the South of Russia for direct insurance over 9 months of 2009 totaled RUB 759 mln., including for voluntary personal insurance – RUB 62 mln., for property insurance – RUB 504 mln., for voluntary liability insurance – RUB 4 mln. Payments for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 189 mln.Over the period property insurance and compulsory motor TPL insurance have been the most dynamically developing business areas in the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC in the  Southern Federal District.

The leader in terms of the amount of premium collected is Krasnodar region – RUB 410 mln. The volume of premium, collected in Rostov region, amounted to RUB 276 mln. Payments in these regions totaled RUB 250 mln. and RUB 191 mln. correspondingly.
