OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. According to the preliminary information, over 9 months of 2009, total premium collected by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Central Federal District of Russia amounted to RUB 23.0 bln, which is 11.4% more than in 2008.

Total insurance premium for voluntary insurance other than life was RUB 20.5 bln (an increase of 11.0%), including for personal insurance – RUB 3.6 bln (an increase of 11,3%), for property insurance – RUB 15.3 bln (an increase of 11.2%), for liability insurance – 1.6 bln (an increase of 8.6%). The insurance premium collected for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 2.5 bln (an increase of 14,9%). Payments made by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Central region for direct insurance over 9 months of 2009 totaled RUB 14.9 bln, including for voluntary personal insurance – RUB 3.0 bln, for property insurance – RUB 10.4 bln, for voluntary liability insurance – RUB 0.4 bln. Payments for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 1.1 bln.In 9 months of 2009 property insurance and compulsory motor TPL insurance have been the most dynamically developing business areas in the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC in the  Central Federal District.

The leader in terms of the amount of premium collected in the region is RUB 17.8 bln, Moscow region came in second and the volume of premium, collected in the region, totaled RUB 3.5 bln, Voronezh region – RUB 271 mln. Ingosstrakh payments in these regions totaled RUB 11.4 bln, 2.4 bln and 174 mln, correpsondingly.
