Yenakiievo Metallurgical Works Announced Production Performance
OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. JSC Yenakiievo Metallurgical Works (EMZ), part of Metinvest Group, in November 2009 produced 187.1 thous. t of cast iron, and 213.2 thous. t of steel. Output of rolled products comprised 204.1 thous. t.
For January-November 2009 EMZ decreased production of steel and rolled products vs. similar period of the previous year: cast iron production comprised 1922.3 thous. t, which is by 19.3% below the performance of the last year, steel making dropped by 14.2% down to 2175.8 thous. t, production of finished rolled products plummeted by 18.3% - down to 2059.9 thous. t.
