OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. The Russian Bank for Development under the SME Lending Support Program is introducing new directions of SME support: the first loan facility agreement has been signed with a factoring company “Life” (Moscow), reported the press-centre of RBD.

Pursuant to the agreement RBD has extended to the factoring company “Life” a loan worth RUR 300 million for 1 year. The allocated resources will be channeled to financing the company’s clients representing small and medium-sized enterprises that can use the received funds both for support of their current operations and for growth.

According to Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD, SME lending support via infrastructure organizations is one of the priorities of the Bank’s Program. “RBD permanently develops and introduces new instruments promoting SME development. The agreement signed with the factoring company “Life” affords new possibilities of facilitating a wide range of national small and medium-sized enterprises”, he stated.
