OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2009. Azerbaijani sources say that GTZ has not only initiated a special project but also started selecting contractors for these ends.

“At the same time GTZ applied a non-traditional method to the problem of alternate energy. The Organisation asks a question of technological transfer and a possibility of using multi-functional gas systems in large (first of all, social) facilities.

GTZ wants from its contractors to work out the matter of equipping of social facilities with their own gas systems oriented to generate electricity and heating,” a source said.

The Organisation has never before encroached upon the sphere of technical assistance to energy and public utility sector.
