ITB Expands Geography of Its Interbank Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2009. The range of ITB’s counterparties in the interbank market has been significantly expanded in 2009 due to the banks of Belorussia, Tadjikistan, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which have successfully overcame the crisis. The total number of ITB’s partner banks in the interbank market of Russia and the CIS made 347 financial institutions, in the banknote operations – 146, reported the press-centre of ITB.
In 2009 in the framework of the Program for complex servicing of financial institutions at the “Bank for Banks” Site 25 agreements have been signed with the banks from the near-abroad countries.
The number of ITB’s CIS partners has reached 35 financial institutions. The interbank cooperation includes settlement services, deposit and conversion operations, operations with promissory notes and securities, banknote business, trade finance operations, information and analytical support of the business by the International Bank Club “Analytics Unlimited”.
