OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2009. Glazovsky zavod Khimmash, a part of OMZ Group, had manufactured a N-cation filter for the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant-2, currently under construction. The equipment was ordered by OAO Atomenergoproekt.

N-cation filter is a vessel operating under pressure of 8.4 MPa, of 2 m diameter and 5 m height, equipped with special filtering elements. The contract signed in July 2009 involves manufacturing of 12 filters for various purposes (N-cation, mixed-type effect and absorption traps). The filters are produced according to safety class IV. By the end of November 2009 all filters will be manufactured and delivered to Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant-2.
