The amount needed to finance the development of the off-the-shelf solution (26,8 mln RUB) will be provided as part of the federal target program “Electronic Russia.” ARMADA won the tender in consortium with Rosbi Inform Co — the developer of the video recording solution. ARMADA will be responsible for developing the general part of the system, which involves integrating the solution with the automated systems of the Russian Post, Federal Bailiff Service, financial institutions, and developing common regulations for regions to link up to the system. Once in place, all of this will allow the system to streamline the penalties and penalty management by the State Road Traffic Safety Inspection and the Federal Bailiff Service, which will ultimately bring about a decline in road traffic accident casualties on stretches with such equipment installed.
