OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2009. In the village of Smolyhiv, Volyn region President Victor Yushchenko took part in the opening of a new food factory of JSC Volynholding corporation (100% shares belonging to Nestle), reported the press-centre of president.gov.ua.

Congratulating those present on this event, the President expressed confidence that a new industrial facility would improve domestic food production and contribute to bringing it to the European standards.

The President stressed that the crisis is a good opportunity to find new effective ways of management and today's opening of the new plant proves that. He expressed confidence that the number of successful projects, such as this one, would be growing in Ukraine given profound economic and budgetary reforms and continuation of the European integration course.

After the ceremony President Yushchenko toured the new enterprise and was shown its product samples.
