OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2009. In accordance with the decree, the Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget 2009 the Azerbaijan State Caspian Company (Kaspar) will be financed AZN 5 million for construction of a port facility in the Baku Bay.

The decree commissions the Ministry of Finance to undertake financing and the Cabinet Ministers to resolve issues following the decree.

The decision aims to improve ecology of the Baku Bay, transfer of industrial enterprises out of the capital’s centre and to ensure rise of cargo carriages through the Azerbaijani territory.

The country’s government also plans to build a new trade port in Alyat settlement in south of Baku.
