SOCAR Cut Manufacture of Oil Products by 0.4% in November 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2009. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reduced oil refining by 0.4% this November and compared to December 2008 the decline made up 20.9%.
SOCAR reports that it was refined 476,000 tons of oil in November versus 477,770 tons in October, 547,360 tons in September, 502,230 tons in August, 517,810 tons in July, 496,650 tons in June, 474,220 tons in May, 511,690 tons in April, 475,500 tons in March, 444,380 tons in February, 580,750 tons in January of 2009 and 601,960 in December 2008.
For Jan-Nov 2009 refining totaled 5.504 million tons. The target on production of petroleum products for 2009 (6.21 million tons) was implemented by 88.6% for Jan-Nov of the year.
Last year oil refining reached 7.347 million tons of oil, and the Jan-Nov 2009 indicator makes 74.9% of this volume.
This November it was produced 101,850 tons of motor petrol (versus 111,640 tons in October, 110,410 tons in September, 117,860 tons in August, 109,350 tons in July, 100,810 tons in June, 102,770 tons in May, 88,950 in April, 98,070 in March, 80,890 tons in February and 106,750 tons in January of 2009), 19,770 tons of once-run petrol (versus 17,660 tons, 18,020 tons, 19,370 tons, 22,320 tons, 23,160 tons, 19,680 tons, 11,260 tons, 19,560 tons, 19,740 tons and 19,480 tons respectively), 178,570 tons of diesel fuel (versus 179,110 tons, 203,810 tons, 192,750 tons, 198,870 tons, 19,480 tons, 173,520 tons, 197,660 tons, 155,010 tons, 155,610 tons and 191,510 tons), 14,070 tons of furnace fuel (versus 13,580 tons, 19,810 tons, 24,580 tons, 13,140 tons, 7,090 tons, 9,800 tons, 35,410 tons, 4,630 tons, 25,880 tons and 92,060 tons respectively).
For the last 11 months it was produced 1.129 million tons of motor petrol, 210,020 tons of once-run petrol, 2.007 million tons of diesel fuel, 260,040 tons of furnace fuel.
This November kerosene was not manufactured, while production of oil bitumen totaled 15,190 tons. Their production for Jan-Nov 2009 reached 6,520 tons and 224,490 tons respectively.
