OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2009. EBRD will provide USD 150mn of 10-year subordinated loan to Raiffeisen Bank Aval < BAVL UK U/R >. The funds are provided according to the EBRD program of support to the banking systems.

Millennium Capital sees the news to be positive for BAVL, since it confirms a strong financial support of the bank by its parent Raiffeisen International, which agreed with EBRD on the total EUR 150mn loan provisions to its subsidiary banks in Ukraine, Russia and Romania. According to Millennium Capital's estimation, the loan will increase BAVL’s regulative capital standard to 27%.
